Kick Forward Scholarship

The Kick Forward Student Scholarship is a proud new extension of Back2School Kicks Chicago, an impactful community initiative launched in 2022 with the goal of providing students with new shoes to start the school year on the right foot. To date, nearly 1,600 pairs of shoes have been distributed to Chicago students, helping to promote confidence and readiness for learning.

Building on this success, in 2025, the organizers are excited to expand their mission beyond footwear. The Kick Forward Scholarship aims to support Chicago students in their pursuit of higher education by providing financial assistance to those attending City Colleges of Chicago starting in the fall of 2026 and beyond.
