United Center Nursing Scholarship

The purpose of the United Center Nursing Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to eligible students enrolled in the Basic Nursing, Advanced Certificate in Practical Nursing and Associate in Applied Science in Nursing programs at Malcolm X College. Scholarships will cover the full tuition balance for the term. Students who are selected to receive the United Center Scholarship must meet all eligibility criteria. Failure to successfully complete courses in the term in which the scholarship is awarded will result in students not being eligible to apply for future semesters.

Eligibility criteria

• Malcolm X College must be your HOME campus
• Be a student admitted or currently enrolled in the BNA, Advanced Certificate in Practical Nursing or AAS in Nursing program at MXC
• Be a continuing student in good academic standing (2.5 GPA or higher)
• Submit a personal essay consist of 250 words or less on expectations of a career in Nursing
