United Center Persist Scholarship

The purpose of the Persist Scholarship is to support students who are seeking a degree or certificate from Malcolm X College. The MXC Persist Scholarship will pay tuition only (no books or program materials). Students who are awarded the scholarship must meet all eligibility criteria. Failure to successfully complete courses in the term in which the scholarship is awarded will result in students not being eligible to apply for future semesters.

Eligibility requirements

• Be a new/continuing student with a home campus of MXC
• Be a continuing MXC student in good standing (2.0 or higher)
• Be enrolled in a degree/certificate program at MXC
• Demonstrate ineligibility for financial aid (FAFSA Completion) or partial funding
