DFSS CSBG Scholarship Program

The DFSS CSBG Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to income-eligible individuals in Chicago pursuing their higher education goals. Students enrolled full-time for the 2025 Fall semester in any Illinois college, university, or vocational training program are eligible to apply. The funds may be used to cover tuition and institutional fees for the fall and spring semesters. All income-eligible students attending any post-secondary institution are encouraged to apply.

Scholarships range from $1,000 to $5,000 for income-eligible residents.
